Governor Payne appoints Ramona Hall to the San Andreas Supreme Court
LOS SANTOS — Governor Payne today signed an executive order appointmenting the Honorable Ramona Hall to the San Andreas Supreme Court, filling the vacancy created by the resignation of Justice Johnathan Herr.
Judge Hall currently serves on the San Andreas Court of Appeals and previously held a lengthy and respected tenure on the Lake County District Court. Her judicial career spans a broad range of trial and appellate experience, including criminal law, civil procedure, family law, and constitutional matters. She is widely regarded for her commitment to due process, fairness, and careful judicial reasoning.
“Judge Hall brings to our Supreme Court a deep respect for the rule of law, a strong understanding of how judicial decisions affect communities across our state, and a record of service marked by integrity and fairness,” Governor Payne said. “I am confident she will serve the people of San Andreas with distinction.”
Judge Hall was selected following a merit-based process in which the Judicial Nominating Commission submitted a list of qualified finalists for the Governor’s consideration. In accordance with the Constitution of San Andreas, Justice Hall will hold office during good behavior, subject to confirmation and retention as provided by law, and may serve up to the constitutional maximum of twenty-six years on the Supreme Court.
The San Andreas Supreme Court is the highest judicial authority in the state and serves as the final interpreter of the Constitution and laws of San Andreas. Its decisions are binding on all lower courts and play a central role in ensuring fairness, consistency, and justice statewide .
Judge Hall will be sworn in following confirmation and the administration of the oath of office.
